Hun, what’s wrong?
Says a friend,
The day drags on,
I see no end.

From class to class,
I’m in a haze,
They move so fast,
Mice in a maze.

I read the words,
Running down the page,
Story of two lovebirds,
Once upon the stage.

But can the stage be real,
Sweet Juliet and Romeo,
Is it true that sshe can feel,
Or is it all just the show?

Maybe we should take a clue,
From the classic story’s world,
And learn to love so true,
Without ever being told.

They knew it was wrong,
No parent’s consent,
But heard love’s sweet song,
And went without regret.

Love never regrets,
Through life and death and sin,
And thus the ultimate test,
Is whether we can forgive.

So as I’ve said before,
In that tragic story’s tale,
Telling a message of more,
That love will never fail.
